LASH EXTENSIONS FAQ
WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING.
If you currently have lashes from another place, please let us know before booking- as depending on the quality we may need to remove them first before doing a new set. Try to arrive with no makeup on around the eye area- as removing it will cut into your lashing time. Wear something comfy, and feel free to bring headphones if you'd like to listen to music/podcast while you get lashed! Stay out of water/humidity for 24 hours after your lashes are done- so no vigorous sweating/swimming etc.
HOW LONG DO LASH EXTENSIONS LAST.
Lash extensions last 2-3 weeks before needing to be filled. Everyone's lashes grow at different rates, but to ensure no breakage happens- we don't recommend going longer than 3 weeks.
WHAT IS A NEW SET VS A FILL.
A new set is what we would do for someone who has no lash extensions on currently. Or if you do, and have less than 30% of your lashes remaining, this may classify as a new set so that we can get everything back up to par. A fill is going to be every 2-3 weeks (your preference is based on how full you like to keep your lash extensions & what your schedule may be like).
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP.
Of course! But keep in mind that any oil-based products around the eyes can cause retention issues. Oil is essentially what's used to break down the glue when we remove lashes, so when in doubt- ensure your makeup is water based when it comes to the eye area!
POST APPOINTMENT.
Avoid all types of steam & moisture for up to 24 hours. No picking, pulling, rubbing hard, or tweezing your lashes. Stay away from anything oil-based, and pencil eyeliners. Wash and brush your lashes daily. Pre-book your appointments to ensure all fills are done between 2-3 weeks based on your preference.
